Terms & Conditions of Services
Thank you for trusting me to be part of your recovery journey. My goal is to provide thoughtful, encouraging, and personalized peer support rooted in lived experience. To help us have the best experience possible, please review the following terms.

Communication
Support may be provided through text message or the social media platform you're most comfortable using.


Supported platforms currently include:

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • LinkedIn

  • X (Twitter)

  • Threads

  • TikTok

  • YouTube

 

Depending on the support plan you choose, communication may include:

  • Private direct messages

  • Public social media encouragement and thoughtful engagement on your posts

  • A combination of both

 

Every response is personally read and written by me. You'll never receive automated replies or solely AI-generated responses.

 

Message Length
I personally read every message you send. To help me provide thoughtful, personalized responses, I ask that individual messages be kept to a couple of paragraphs rather than the next War and Peace. 😉

 

Response Expectations
I strive to provide thoughtful, consistent peer support based on the level of service you select.
While I make every reasonable effort to respond within the expectations of your plan, response times may occasionally vary due to weekends, holidays, travel, illness, family responsibilities, speaking engagements, or other professional commitments.
Peer support is built on trust, not stopwatches. I will always make a genuine, good-faith effort to provide the level of support you've selected. Reasonable fulfillment of each support plan is determined at my sole discretion.

 

Scheduling & Cancellations
One-on-one sessions may be rescheduled with reasonable notice.
If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as possible. Missed appointments or cancellations made with little or no notice may not be eligible for rescheduling or refund.

 

Refund Policy
Your satisfaction matters to me. If you feel your experience did not meet your expectations, please reach out so we can discuss it.
Because peer support is personalized and begins as soon as services are provided, refunds are not guaranteed. Refund requests will always be considered fairly and in good faith. Any refund issued is at my sole discretion based on the circumstances.

Scope of Peer Support
Peer support is grounded in lived experience, encouragement, accountability, hope, and practical support. 

 

Peer support is not:

  • Therapy or counseling

  • Medical or psychiatric care

  • Legal advice

  • Financial advice

  • Crisis intervention

  • Emergency services

 

Peer support complements professional care but does not replace licensed healthcare providers or emergency services.

Client Responsibility
Recovery is a collaborative process. While I'll do my best to encourage, support, and walk alongside you, meaningful change ultimately depends on your own choices, effort, and participation.

 

I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, sobriety, personal achievements, or recovery milestones.

Emergencies
If you believe you may harm yourself or someone else, are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, or require immediate assistance, call 911, contact your local crisis services, or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.

 

Messaging through this service should never be used for emergency communication.

 

Respectful Communication
This is a space built on mutual respect.
I reserve the right to suspend or discontinue services if communication becomes abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, manipulative, or otherwise inappropriate.

Changes to Services
As my practice grows, services, pricing, availability, and these terms may occasionally change. Any changes will apply prospectively and will not affect services already purchased unless otherwise communicated.

Agreement
By purchasing or participating in any peer support service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Privacy & Confidentiality
I respect your privacy and will treat our conversations with care. While I make every reasonable effort to keep our communications confidential, confidentiality cannot be absolutely guaranteed when using text messaging, email, or third-party social media platforms. By choosing these methods of communication, you acknowledge and accept those inherent risks.
